I believe this little chest of drawers was an Apprentice Piece and made around the mid 1860-70's. It is exquisite in detail with dovetail case, pinned construction, carved central fan and handmade brass pulls with embellished decoration. It has the appearance of two drawers over three, but is actually only two drawers. The primary wood appears to be mahogany with elm or oak secondary in the drawers. I believe this is of English origin. There has been a repair to the front skirt, and some nails added at some of the drawer dovetail locations. It measures 20" wide, 12" deep and 14" high.
